SURELY AN ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR?

The KNOll to Windfarm Action Group note that Sedgemoor District Council have identified the planning application for the commercial development of a wind farm between Burnham-on-Sea and Brent Knoll as “technically invalid” due to short comings in the application documentation relating to access to the site.

A spokesperson for the Action Group commented:

“We anticipate that this was just an administrative error by the developer, as we can’t imagine a professional company would make such a basic mistake, and we note that Ecotricity’s Chief Executive recently commented that their application would be “robust”.

If it is not just a simple error, then we wonder how “robust” the rest of the submission may be. Clearly time will tell”.
